E-Registration Process

The E-Registration Processes represents a one-stop company registration service that enables any person to submit a company name reservation application, a registration application of a local company or an application for registration of a foreign company to the General Directorate of Companies Registration in KRG.

To make an application under the one-stop service, an applicant must be a registered user within the General Directorate. The user registration is a simple process that can be done by registering via the above link to obtain the username and password that is needed to login to the e-service applications.

The applicant will be required to fill out the User Registration application with the correct information ensuring a correct Email Address is used, since it will be used as the primary communication tool throughout.

Upon successful submission of the application the applicant will receive an email with a Unique Transaction Number (UTN) that will be similar to a password to be used for logging into the various E-service applications available through this portal

How to Register

Name Reservation

• Conduct a preliminary name search to decide on one suggested name
• Identify the partner name to register the business name with
• Login the name reservation application and fill the information and upload the partner ID’s
• Submit the application and await the system confirmation email
• Should the name is reserved you will receive a confirmation email

There is a one-time registration process to be granted a user access to the E-services

Company Registration Processing

• Login the company registration application and fill in the required information and upload the following documents
• Shareholders Ids and their signatures specimen
• Capital Deposit Bank Certificate
• Company Director ID
• Company Legal Advisor ID, contract and Non Objection Letter from his Bar Association
• Company Accountant ID and Non Objection Letter from his Union
• Employees Ids (if any)

 

Authentication and Payment

• • Once the initial approval is received via email, print, sign and seal the Article of Association document and the Board of Directors Minutes Letter
  • Deliver all the original documents to the respective Governorate Company Registration Office for document matching
  • Pay the fees at the cash counter
  • Wait for the final approval

 

 

Outcome

• Once the final approval is granted (the process is within minutes) you will receive the company certificate
• Get the Certificate stamped for being original at the Governorate CR Office Manager
• Your company is established and you are set to do business
• You will receive an email with your Tax Authority Company Number and your Social Security Company Number.
